Sweet peas and crusty pototoes

Have you ever seen “Hands” on RTE? It’s a brilliant documentary series from years ago looking at Irish craft workers in areas from basket weaving to hurl making? Those people have/had hugely important skills and knowledge in their respective crafts. Obviously there was none of this blogging malarkey in those days but even if there was, with everyone writing with authority on everything, how would we know who “really” knows? Do blogs allow people who haven’t done an apprenticeship (in life) to express opinions but don’t have the experience to back them up? Slow morning.
